Used, PROJECT FOR SURE. This 1990 TSi was originally owned by my father, I got it when he passed away, so I considered a 1 car owner. The is a G1 turbo series that had work done July 2008, had 92,595 miles at that time. - new tires, timing belt, water pump, new gas tank, fuel line, fuel pump and more ... detailed list available. Mileage as of February 1, 2013 is 94,630 so just over 2,000 miles on rebuild. The broke down and I have decided I am not going to spend any more money on it. Here is what we have right now. 1) Looks like either the Master clutch, slave or both have gone out. clutch pedal sitting on the floor and will not retract back, no clutch at all. Estimate is about $400.00 parts then labor. 2) For sure it needs front struts and more than likely bushing and such.
