Used, The LFA is the result of 12 years of exclusive research & development by Toyota s top engineers. The result is a car that looks, sounds & drives unlike anything else on the road. The compact 4.8L V10 engine develops 552hp, and revs so fast that a digital tachometer had to be developed to keep track. The engine sound was tuned in conjunction with Yamaha to provide a distinctive sound that s instantly recognizable. The engine uses aluminum and titanium extensively, the body uses Carbon Fiber, and the chassis uses Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer; all to save weight. Overall weight is just over 3200lbs giving a power to weight ratio of 5.9lbs per hp. Acceleration from 0 60mph is achieved in only 3.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of over 200 mph The performance is matched only by the exclusivity. Only 500 were built, and only 179 were delivered to the United States. The final car was built in January 2013. #272 is one of only 2 Sunset Orange and the only one with Cream interior.
