Derek Bell developed an uprated gearbox that overcame a lot of the gearbox problems with a much thicker single piece input shaft. The Type 918 engine was detuned from a potential 500 bhp (373 kW; 507 PS) to 350 bhp (261 kW; 355 PS) to prevent gearbox damage due to the fragility of the Renault UN-1 transmission. Used, If you've ever truly wanted to stand out on the street, very few cars bring the attention and intrigue that this car will produce. This car comes with all service records, the factory repair manuals and all original documentation. It is virtually flawless inside and out. The ONLY defect is the red wrinkle-finish paint on the intake plenum is starting to crack and craze. Also the wood trim piece on the driver's door has some nicks in it where the seat buckle sometimes gets trapped.
